Monster Valve™ Tire Deflator from Power Tank. Monster Valve™ are over sized, light-weight, yet strong valve stems that you install as a second stem to your wheel. Made from 7018 aluminum, they are the fastest tire deflation AND inflation product on the market.
Imagine airing down a 40"x13.5"x17" tire from 35 psi down to 10 psi in under 30 sec. When airing up with the Monster Chuck and a Power Tank, you will inflate that same tire in ~45 sec.
They are easy to install into steel or aluminum wheels. Just drill a hole with the included 'Q' drill bit, tap 3/8-24 threads with the included tap, and screw them in. Done. You don't even have to remove your tire from the rim. Check out our install video with the tire mounted here.
Clean threads are essential to a leak free Monster Valve™ which is why we supply a high quality straight thread 3/8-24 tap and a matching 'Q' drill bit. Unlike tapered NPT threads, the straight tap easier to start and you don't have to worry about over-threading. Run the tap all the way through for clean threads and a smooth install.
With an aluminum body and collar and brass cap the total weight of each valve is a mere 1.1 oz. and does not require a tire rebalancing. Due to its construction it is 5 times stiffer than a standard metal valve.
This is intended as a spare and does not include the installation key or a Monster Chuck.
