Installation Instructions
These inserts come with 3M™ 468MP adhesive transfer tape pre-applied. For the strongest, longest-lasting bond, follow these steps:
- Work at 70°F (21°C) or warmer. Install and keep the vehicle at this temperature — bonding is dramatically slower below 50°F. Warmer surfaces (up to ~80+°F) speed up the bond.
- Clean the bumper step surface thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol. Remove all dirt, wax, oil, and residue, then let it fully dry. A clean surface is critical — any residue will weaken the final bond.
- Dry-fit first. Set each insert in place to confirm alignment before removing the adhesive liner. The 468MP is briefly repositionable on first touch, but plan your placement.
- Peel the liner and apply. Position carefully, then press firmly. Use a roller or firm hand pressure across the entire pad — high pressure forces the adhesive to fully "wet out" and bond to the surface.
- Let it cure. The bond reaches ~50% strength in 20 minutes, ~90% in 24 hours, and full ultimate strength in 72 hours at room temperature. Avoid heavy stepping/loading for the first 24 hours and don't wash or expose to water for at least 24-48 hours.

Will these fit my Grenadier?
They fit the 2024+ INEOS Grenadier OEM US-spec front bumper. They are shaped for the US-market bumper and will not fit other-market bumper shapes.
Do I need any extra adhesive or hardware?
No — 3M™ 468MP adhesive is pre-applied. You just need isopropyl alcohol to prep the surface.
Can they be removed or replaced?
Yes. They're easy to replace if ever needed, though the 468MP forms a strong permanent-grade bond once fully cured. Just heat and pull with your fingers or a trim piece tool with a soft cover (ie felt).
Will they damage my bumper?
No — that's the point. They protect the factory finish from scuffs and wear when you step on the bumper.
