Despite being relatively new, GAIA Campers' caps have quickly gained a reputation for durability and reliability. Designed to withstand tough conditions, these caps are equipped to handle various challenges and ensure your belongings remain safe, no matter the weather or environment. With their robust construction and commitment to quality, they provide peace of mind for travelers looking to safeguard their cargo during their journeys.

What sets the Shadow Top Jeep Gladiator bed cap apart from other truck bed caps on the market is its unique curved down back, which not only gives your truck a sleeker, coupe-like appearance but also provides a more aerodynamic design compared to standard boxy truck caps. However, it still retains all the great functionalities of a standard GAIA Campers truck cap.

Toughest Truck Caps

The GAIA Shadow Top Jeep Gladiator fastback truck cap is well-known for its sturdy build, crafted from durable stainless steel and coated with a sleek black finish. Designed to endure tough off-road trips, it provides better protection than typical bed caps, ensuring your belongings stay safe even in challenging conditions.

Accessing your truck bed contents is easy, thanks to the integrated gas struts that ensure smooth opening and closing of the cap. The lid fully opens, making it simple to load large items from the top. For security, this Jeep Gladiator truck bed cap features two locking latches on each door, strengthened by safety glass and steel bars on the windows to discourage unauthorized access.

It also comes with a third brake light and an LED strip for improved visibility at night, enhancing safety on the road or at your campsite. Unlike standard truck caps, however, this Jeep Gladiator camper shell doesn't allow for the installation of a roof rack, limiting your ability to expand storage capacity or mount a rooftop tent. Nevertheless, you can still mount various accessories on the side doors for customization according to your needs!

Jeep Gladiator Camper Shell Features:

Fully welded stainless steel; no structural bolts to worry about rattling loose over time.
The Shadow Top now comes standard with an operable sliding window in the front wall of the cap, behind your truck cab.
The Shadow Top also features a safety glass rear window, with security bars inside the cap over the rear window (the bars can be removed by unbolting them if you do not want them).
Includes rear grab handles on each side, as well as a rear hatch grab handle
Side doors are solid (no window option is available at this time). The side doors fold down and are held by a limit chain in a horizontal position, which is handy as a quick table.
The cap includes an internal LED strip light that comes pre-wired to a switch in the rear corner of the cap by the rear hatch. Simply connect the positive & negative wires to a 12V power source of your choice.
Each cap comes with mounting hardware (see below) as well as rubber seals to seal the cap down to your truck bed sides.
Note: In some photos, you may see a 3rd brake light on top of the shadow top cap. This has been removed from the current design because the Gladiator already comes from the factory with a 3rd brake light in the truck´s tailgate.

Shadow Top Installation Information:

GAIA offers two options for the installation of the ShadowTop to the bed of your Jeep Gladiator.

Option 1 (Standard): By choosing this option, the Gaia Shadow Top comes with Gaia's standard L-shaped brackets and the hardware necessary to bolt it to the Jeep Gladiator Trail Rails (This is a DRILL-FREE install).

With option #1, you will also have the possibility of drilling holes in the Jeep's plastic bedside caps and using regular bolts and washers to secure the cap directly to it.

Option 2 (Alternative): This option is for those who don't have the Jeep Gladiator Trail Rails and don't want to drill the bed of the truck. By choosing this option, you will receive "traditional" (or generic) topper clamps. (This is also a DRILL-FREE install.)

*And on both options, you will have the possibility of just drilling the cap to your bed.*
