The Hercules bed system is made up of (2) wheel well boxes that are 54" long. The top wooden platform of this bed will extend back towards the rear doors of the van. You are able to select if you want the bed platform to be 60" or 72" long. The wooden top is (2) pieces and is removable. This bed is straight on the front and back sides.
This bed system features built-in lower cabinets, giving you a clean, finished storage solution right beneath your bed. These cabinets maximize usable space while keeping your gear organized, secure, and easy to access. No wasted corners or clunky aftermarket storage boxes – just seamless integration designed for vanlife. Unlike standard north/south bed designs, this system includes a custom folding east/west mattress (sold separately). The folding design allows the mattress to tuck neatly onto itself, while the front bed panel can be removed to transform your rear garage into a spacious U-shaped lounge or storage area. It’s the ultimate flexibility, whether you’re hauling bikes, camping gear, or just need a cozy hangout. Note that this is not compatible with dually vans.
